Are these plates edible?
Ans : Surprisingly we get this question a lot. No these don’t seem to be edible and go straight to the “green bin” after you finish eating your food

How are they made?
Ans : Few leaves are put in conjunction with small bamboo twigs to make a layer. Depending on the size of the plate / bowls, 3 to 4 layers of leaves are put in a mold and briefly heat pressed to create the finished product. The natural wax of the leaves is released all the way through the process to stick the layers together.

What is the difference between the 7.5″ plate and bowl?
Ans : The bowl is more rounded in shape and is deeper at 1.5″. The plate is also deep at 1.2″
